Come up on the highest mesa in the Central Europe, Děčínský Sněžník (cca 6 km on foot from the hotel). Experience a beautiful panorama on the peak, then take a ride down through the forest on an off-road scooter all the way back to the hotel. In winter, you can slide down from Drážďanská vyhlídka (Děčínský sněžník) to Hřebenová bouda (Sněžník city) on Snowtube.

Build two teams and challenge your co-workers to an unusual competition! We will prepare a Rolls-Royce between tractors, John Deere machines on a meadow under Děčínský Sněžník.. Every team has to pick up a bale of straw and take it to a chosen destination. The quickest and skillfulest team wins!

Security:

Rent of two John Deere tractors including two professional instructors, area security and equipment. Tractors are heated and start in every weather. Activity is suited even for bigger groups, we reccomend combining it with the trip on Děčínský Sněžník.

The licenced climbing instructors equipped with insurance and safety tools certified by the International Climber Assosiation UIAA will explain the climbing tecnique and the on-the-rock rules. All participants are equipped with a safety tools; a climbing harness, helmet, carabines and a rappelling gear. Only pre-tested trails and rock towers are climbed.

Security:

Climbing trails of different difficulties and one wall for rappelling. The Tiské stěny rock area is one of the most famous one and climbing its towers and massives is a truly exciting experience. The belay is done though an upper pulley which assures perfect safety. Ondra Beneš, one of the best Czech rock climbers, is one of the instructors.

Become a rope-dancer! While crossing a 5cm thick line (High-line) between the summits of the rock towers and up to 40 metres deep abysses, you will feel as if you were floating. You will be perfectly belayed by the professional instructors the whole time.

Security:

Line crossings of different lenghts and difficulties with an upper belay. A possibility of an auxiliary loop from the belay rope. In case of fall, the participant can either continue or be lowered down. Realization is possible directly in Ostrov, 300meters from the hotel, or in Tiské stěny on the Doga tower.

An undemanding, unusual activity on the pond right in front of the hotel. You can walk on the water surface in inflatable balls with a 2,5m diameter. This can be realized as a competition of either individuals or teams.

Security:

Qualified staff will help the participants in and out of the transparent zorb-ball, that is inflated to a required pressure and slowly let down to the water. On the water surface, it is secured with a belay rope and a service boat. The oxygen supply in the ball lasts for 30 mins per each filling.

Based on the number of the participants, the guests split into two teams that perform differet outdoor tasks during the trip around the most interesting places in the surrounding.

Security:

The path adapted to time possibilities, physical fittness and skills of the participants. The groups are guided by the instructors the whole time. The trip is filled with activities on rope inpediments, skill tasks and water activities (as agreed). The snack packs for the participants are included in the price. In case of interest, the outdoor catering can be arranged (with an excess fare).

Take a run through Ostrov valley all the way to Bielatal as a haze in the seven-league boots!

Security:

The indicative time is cca 2,5 hours. The price includes insurance, 6 pairs of boots and instructors, show of the tricks (jump over a line of cars etc.), one of the instructors is the European champion.

Supervision of a professional chef, all inventory and equipment available. Can be held on the outdoor terrace in case of nice weather. You can learn how to correctly and easilly unbone fish, cook a puffy cream soup with Brunoise vegetables and genuine Crème brûlée. Lenght cca 4 hours, the price includes ingredients, technology and two professional cooks, recipes and working process, inventory and eating.

Experience the surroundings of hotel Ostrov, Děčínský Sněžník, Kristinin Hrádek a Soví brána from a horseback. Provided easy ride even for those who have never sat on a horse before.

6 horses + 2 instructors available, the price is hour per one person, indcludes saddle + helmet lending and training.

Climbing center is a great fun, ideal for team building. Improve your agility, movements and balance. We offer either high rope obstacles (5-15 metres high) or small rope obstacles (up to one meter above the ground).

Security:

Belaying with leading and securing rope in case of high obstacles, self-belaying in case of small ones. All instructors have valid licences for job in climbing center. Every high-obstacles participant obtains a full body harness, a helmet and a belaying equipment. Climbing centers are mobile and can be set according to your desires.

Learn diving basics in our pond with a proffesional. instructor. After a successful first dive in our pool, there is a possibility of arranging a treassure hunting competition, with the treassure hidden on the pond's bottom cca 3 meters deep, guarded by pikes, catfish and carps.

Děčínský Sněžník region is one out of two locations for Mushing in the Czech Republic and is a part of the European Championship series. Give a sledge ride with a pack of dogs a try!

Security:

Two professional instructors, 3 packs of dogs (one for switch during the rest), two sledges. Can be held as a trip or as a team competition. Activity depends on the weather and the amount of snow.

Adrenaline fun for everybody who loves speed, raging wind and the smell of gasoline!

Security:

Machine rent, including fuel and protective equipment (helmet, protective clothing, gloves), instructor with a valid licence. The activity is held in the closest area out of protected landscape areas (about 4 kms from the hotel)..

Windswept plateaus near Petrovice and Adolfov are perfect for kiting. You can learn both driving and kite handling under the champion and vice-champion of CR. Enjoy magnificent speed through wide plains, driven by the power of the kite!

Security:

Professional instructors with the equipment for all participants, first a theoretical course, trial drive and then the group drive. The activity can be held both in summer (Landkiting) and in winter (Snowkiting). The only factor is a strong wind force.

The real fun and dance until morning!

Professional DJ with all the equipment, a light show and dancing floor. Standart performance 19:00 – 02:00. The price includes the DJ with the additional programme (customized to the requests of quests) and covers the performance's copyright fees.

Professional fireworks with the launching schedule that culminates after five-minute show with the line of rockets flying into the skies.

Our sommelier, Josef Paštika, will guide you through a section of exclusive wines from France and Italy, will present correct ways of how to care about wine, its storage, serving and, most importantly, tasting this divine beverage. You'll be taught to work correctly with sensoric, visual and gustatory wine sensations and combining them with cheese.

Lenght cca 4 hours, can be combined with a cooking course, the price includes 0,7l wine via person and a tasting plate of cheese.

A professional bartender will teach you how to prepare popular and attractive drinks, including the show basics (fire show, throwing etc.). Workshop also includes a cca. 20 min. long show full of the most interesting tricks performed by one of the best bartenders in our country.

The price includes the cca. 20 min. long show, 2 h workshop, training and 6 cocktails per 1 person for consuming.

Ride around with the instructor through the Ostrov valley up to Herkulovy sloupy to Bielatal on the original Segway.

Security:

Fully charged original Segway, instructor, helmet, gloves. Lenght up to acumulators' complete discharge – depends on the riding style, cca 4 hours. More runabouts can be secured.

Modern sport discipline, one of the most developed adrenaline sports where the wit and quick decisiveness matter more than physical fitness. The rocky surroundings of Ostrov area contribute to the dramatic ambience and make the game even more thrilling.

Security:

Every participant obtains a protective mask, clothing and a weapon with the ordered amount of shots (can be refilled). The game can be held on the mobile field around the hotel or possibly in the field far from the hotel with provided transfer by an air-conditioned bus/minibus.

Beautiful nature surrounding Hotel Ostrov****, full of rocks and deep forests is thick with paths and trails, is ideal for healthy northern hiking - Nordic Walking. The instructor will tell you everything about the right technique and principles of this sport, then follow you into the wild as your guide and companion.

Security:

Nordic-Walking sticks rent, instructor with a valid licence for NW, schooling organization and tour schedule according to the participants' likings. One instructor per up to 10 people.

Push your limits with your colleagues and take a walk on a carpet of burning coal!

Arrangement:

The schedule in the lenght of 3 hours. First hour - burning of the stake, team couching, practical examples of brain perception; Second hour - practical excercise to reveal the hidden potential of the individuals, boost of will and resolve; third hour - collective drumming, preparation of the coal carpet. společné bubnování, příprava koberce z uhlí z dohořelé hranice. Your teaam will get a task assignment, that is fulfilling of tailor-suited activities in hotel surrounding in comparison to a bussiness environment. By creating a business plan, the team will choose its solution and, after a short consultation, the time is running to get things done. 

Put your piece of iron in the fire and, with the help of pliers and hammer, forge it while it´s still hot. With a blacksmith´s assistance, create a  chain link (even with your initials) and connect the individual links to create a chain, that you will bring with you as a result of your team work. 

Favourite tabe football in a "little" bigger scale – try out how difficult it is to play football while being bond to a stick with other players!

Arrangement:

A mobile human football playground with dimensions of cca 14 x 6 metres for 12 persons.

Play the mosst popular sport on the planet on an unusual playground; an inflatable playground with a little water inside. Attention, slippery! Safe but unexpected falls of the players guarantee the best fun. For a truly unusual experience it is possible for the players (with an extra charge) to wear inflatable body-zorbs.
