Komáří vížka, built in 1857 by prince Clary Aldringen, is the eldest watchtower in Krušné hory. It is located on top of Komáří hůrka, north of Krupka. The eldest two-stop chairlift in Czech Republic can be used to get to the watchtower itself. Even the surroundings of Komáří vížka are a tourist attractive area. In summer, there are perfect conditions for cycling and walking, you can even try horse riding and paragliding. In winter, Bohemian Switzerland is filled with ski slopes. The symbol of the whole Bohemian Switzerland, Pravčická gate (on the photo above), is a magical and fascinating creation of Mother nature. This national monument is the largest natural gate on the whole continent. You can see the gate from many viewpoints, as well as astonishing view of the area. You can sit and eat in a stylish restaurant of the Sokolí hnízdo castle, which was built near the gate 1881. There is a National park museum on the second floor.
